Jul 15, Kathmandu- A tractor accident in Kalikot has left the driver dead and two others injured.

On Sunday evening, a tractor number 2612 was involved in an accident near Raskot Municipality-5, RCP Bazar, towards Phukot.

The driver, 27-year-old Bir Pariyar of Surkhet, Chingad Rural Municipality, died in the accident. Three people including the driver were injured in the accident. Provincial Traffic Police Office Surkhet said that the driver Pariyar died on Monday morning after they were taken to Karnali Provincial Hospital Kalagaon for treatment.

According to the police, 22-year-old Prakash Tiruwa and 22-year-old Nam Sarki of Kalikot Raskot Municipality-5 are among the injured. They are being treated at the provincial hospital.

The police said that the tractor fell about 100 meters from the road.
