Jul 18, Kathmandu- Almost a quarter of Japan's companies have used artificial intelligence, i.e. 'artificial intelligence' (AI) in their business. According to the news agency Reuters, so far, a quarter of companies have used AI in their business, while 40 percent of companies have plans to use AI in some way.
A survey conducted by Nikkei Research for Reuters asked 506 companies various questions from July 3 to 12. According to the survey, about 24 percent of respondents said they already use AI in their business, 35 percent are planning to use AI, and 41 percent said they have no plans.
Sixty percent of the survey respondents said they plan to use AI to overcome the labor shortage. 53 percent said they planned to reduce labor costs and 36 percent said they plan to use AI for research and development.
But it has also been seen that there is a lack of technical expertise, high costs and increased reliability concerns when using AI. According to the report, 15 percent of the respondents complained about cyber attack last year.
