New Citizenship Registered Online

Jul 19, Kathmandu- With the development of technology, the process of granting new citizenship has been started online in Syangja. Previously, the beneficiaries used to go to the district administration office with a handwritten schedule recommendation, but now they can get citizenship by filling out a form online.

Through the Centralized Citizenship Information Management System of the Ministry of Home Affairs, online citizenship recommendation has been advanced here. In Syangja, where there are 11 local levels, the system has been started in all municipalities at once.

With the Ministry of Home Affairs providing training to the secretaries and ward presidents of 97 wards in the district, this system has been made mandatory in all wards since Bhirkot started on Asadha 19th.

Narayan Paudel, ward secretary of Arjun Chaupari 3, said that after entering the details as per the request of the petitioner in the system, the recommendation will be uploaded in the system after the recommendation is printed and stamped by the ward president.

Assistant Chief District Officer Deepak Poudel said that the system will save time, reduce expenses, and help customers get services faster. Stating that in the past there was a situation where the administration had to go back when the documents were not delivered, Saprajia Paudal said that no one who comes with a number after filling the recommendation will return empty-handed.

In Syangja, 71 people, 51 people from district administration office and 20 people from area administration office, have taken new citizenship through online recommendation.
