Jul 19, Kathmandu- Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the new government has been formed to solve the problems in the country and to make some changes.
Today, in a discussion with the officials of the Nepal Industry Association, he said that since he had already become the Prime Minister, he did not come back to the responsibility just for the position.
"The main goal of the present government is to solve the existing problems and strengthen the economy. I did not come only to become the prime minister, I came with the determination to solve the problems in the country and work for change", he said, "Therefore, the private sector should have hope and trust in this government and work together".
Tax rates should not be changed observing the faces and considering that the private sector should be able to protest when the policy is wrong, Prime Minister Oli emphasized that the monetary policy should not be rigid to keep the economy running. On that occasion, President Rajesh Kumar Agarwal urged the government to work with high priority to boost the sluggish economy for the past three years.
While the external sector is encouraging as the productive and construction sectors are more affected, he emphasized that the morale of the private sector should be increased, giving an illustration that the domestic economy is still in trouble. Chairman Agarwal said that the lax economy should be made viable through monetary policy.
Outgoing president of the federation Bishnu Kumar Agarwal, former president Satish Kumar More, Haribhakta Sharma, vice presidents Nirvana Chaudhary, Birendra Raj Pandey, Raj Bahadur Shah, Amit More, Bhim Ghimire, governing council members Shivaratan Sharda, Yogeswor Lal Shrestha, Balkrishna Shrestha and others gave suggestions to the Prime Minister about the current state of the economy and how to improve it.
