Simaltal Landslide: Two dead bodies found in India

Jul 19, Kathmandu- The bodies of 2 passengers of the bus who went missing in Trishuli after the Simaltal landslide have been found on India. Co-spokesperson of the Armed Police Force, Shailendra Thapa, informed that it was found by a team of the Indian Border Security Force (SSB).

According to him, 2 dead bodies were found in the Narayani river located in Champaran Nagaha, India, at around 9:30 pm on Thursday. The body has not been identified.

On Asadha 28, Bagmati Pradesh No. 03-001 B 2495 going to Gaur from Kathmandu and Bagmati Province No. 03-001 B 2495 and Angel Deluxe No. 03-006 B 1516 coming from Birgunj to Kathmandu fell into Trishuli. Other passengers on board the bus and both buses are missing.

Those who have been identified are Rishipal Shah, Ramit Kushar Majhi, Jay Prakash Thakur, Kishore Kumar Chaudhary, Ashok Kumar Yadav, Rishikumar Singh, Bibek Kumar, Jitendra Ram Mahara and Amrita Kumari who were riding in Ganpati Deluxe bus.

Co-spokesperson Thapa said that Bikash Pariyar, Sajad Ansari, Sudip BK, Parmananda Pandit and Chandra Prabha Kumari who were on the Angel bus were identified.
