UAE Gave Nepal A Target Of 116 Runs

Jul 19, Kathmandu- Women's Asia Cup T20 cricket tournament, UAE has given a target of 116 runs to Nepal. Batting after losing the toss in Sri Lanka's Dambulla, UAE scored 115 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs.

UAE's Khushi Sharma scored 36 runs, Kabisha Igaedage scored 22 runs. Nepal's captain Indu Burma took 3 wickets and Sabnam Rai, Kritika Marasini and Kabita Jaisi took 1 wicket each.

After the match between Nepal and UAE, India and Pakistan are playing today. The final match of the ninth edition of the Women's Asia Cup, which has started today, will be held on July 28.

Eight countries are participating in the ninth edition of the tournament, this time consisting of four Tests and four Associates. Nepal is in Group 'A' in the Asia Cup. This group includes Nepal, UAE, India and Pakistan. Similarly, Group B includes host Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Malaysia and Thailand.

This is Nepal's third participation in the Asia Cup. In the previous tournament, Nepal was eliminated from the group stage.
