Jul 19, Kathmandu- Three opposition parties have decided to vote against the vote of confidence demanded by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
The decision was taken at a meeting of CPN Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda), Unified Socialist Party Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal and National Independent Party Chairman Rabi Lamichhane.
Deputy Secretary General Barshaman Pun has said that it was agreed to play a role in protecting democratic values by becoming a strong opposition party as there is a danger of autocracy when big parties join forces.
Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to take a vote of confidence in the House of Representatives on Sunday.
