Jul 28, Kathmandu- Afghanistan will play Test cricket against New Zealand.

The Afghanistan Cricket Board has informed that they will play a Test match against New Zealand from September 9 to 13. The board has informed that this game will be played at the Greater Noida Sports Complex Ground in India.

Afghanistan got Test recognition in June 2017 and the first match was played against India in June 2018.

So far Afghanistan have played 9 Tests and won 3 Tests. Afghanistan have so far defeated Bangladesh, Ireland and Zimbabwe.
