Aug 01, Kathmandu- In the meeting of the Education Committee of the Parliament, the discussion on the issue of medical educational institutions is continuing. In Thursday's meeting, the discussion on the relationship between the Medical Education Commission and the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training is going on.
In the meeting, the committee members are discussing with the officials of the commission and the council. During the discussion, the Council informed about the delay in granting affiliation to the educational institutions. He was of the opinion that when the minister changed several times, the decision of the council was delayed.
Tailendra Acharya, head of the relationship division, said that the council could not give the relationship when the minister changed.
While he was saying that the decision was being delayed when the minister changed, Dhanraj Gurung, a member of the committee on behalf of the Nepali Congress, objected.
While Acharya was speaking, Gurung stopped immediately and warned him not to speculate that the decision was delayed because of the minister.
"Don't suspect that the delay was caused by the minister. What day has the minister been freed? It is absurd to say that he will not work and that he could not do it because of the minister. Don't do such a thing", said Gurung.
The member secretary of the council, Mahesh Bhattarai, retracted the statement that the delay was due to the minister after that.
"I take back the statement that the delay was caused by the minister. The delay was not due to the minister. We have our own weakness in that", said Member Secretary Bhattarai.
