Aug 01, Kathmandu- CG Motors under Chaudhary Group is going to establish a battery lab and service center of EV battery manufacturer CATL in Nepal.

CG Motors is going to set up a service centre and lab with battery facilities to end the problem of batteries among the growing number of EV vehicles and customers in Nepal. It is expected that this step of CG Motors, which has won everyone's hearts with its customer-friendly brand, will give more confidence to the customers. The company said that the battery service center will start from September 2024.

Aiming to provide service from a separate service hub for battery service centers and labs, CG has said that it will provide services with highly skilled and technical training from CATL. According to the company, technicians who are considered to be the best in battery service will provide service from the service center. According to statistics, CATL Batteries, which occupies 37 percent of the world market, has two-thirds of the market share in Nepal.

CG Motors said that apart from the customers using its brand, customers of many other brands connected to CATL batteries in Nepal can get service at the service center that is going to be established by CG Motors. The company believes that CATL Battery will continue to be popular in Nepal as customers of all brands will be able to get the service at an affordable price.
