Parliamentarians And Leaders Of NIP To Travel In Public Transport

Aug 04, Kathmandu- The MPs and central members of the National Independent Party have left their private vehicles at the party office in Chamti from today.

Leaving their private vehicles at the party office, the leaders and MPs have started riding public transport for five days. Deputy Chairman Dr. Swarnim Wagle, MPs Shishir Khanal, Ganesh Parajuli have reached the program held in Tanahun on Sunday. They also used public transport to go there. After the closed workshop of the party on Saturday, all the leaders and MPs returned home in public transport, NIP whip Nisha Dangi informed. On Sunday, the party vice-chairman Dol Prasad Aryal also went to see the match being played at Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwor by public transport. A volleyball match between Nepal and Iran is being played at Dasharath Stadium on Sunday. Chairman Rabi Lamichhane was resting at home on Sunday, according to a member of his secretariat.

Deputy Chairman Aryal said that to understand the condition of public transport and closely observe the problems faced by common people, they have started a campaign to ride public transport for five days. He said that all other leaders along with Chairman Lamichhane will ride public transport. The campaign of NIP will be conducted till next Wednesday.
