In the match at Dasharath Stadium Curved Hall, Sri Lanka won against Maldives in straight sets of 25-22, 25-12 and 25-16 by 3-0. It is stated as Sri Lanka's first victory. Sri Lanka lost in straight sets to Nepal in the first match and lost 3-2 to Iran in the second match. Sri Lanka will play their final match of the league stage against India tomorrow. This is the third defeat of the Maldives.
Maldives lost to India in the first match and lost to Iran in the second match on Saturday. Maldives will play the last match of the league stage against home team Nepal on Monday.
