NSU Concerned For The Safety Of Nepalese Students In Bangladesh

Aug 09, Kathmandu- The Nepal Student Union (NSU), a fraternal organization of the Nepali Congress, has shown concern for the security of Nepali students studying in Bangladesh.

Dujang Sherpa, President of the NSU, has expressed interest in the safety of Nepali students and other communities by issuing a statement on Friday.

The newly formed government of Bangladesh hopes to create a comfortable environment for sending students to university.

The union has also expressed concern over the violence against the minority community in Bangladesh.

According to international media, violence against religious minorities increased after the ouster of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

The newly formed interim government is expected to pay attention to the security and rights of the minority community, according to the NSU.
