Everyone wants power, the state of education in the country is critical: Former President Yadav

Aug 22, Kathmandu- Former President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav has said that the condition of education in the country is dire.

Addressing a program held in Kathmandu on Thursday, he drew the government's attention to the fact that most of the public schools in the country do not have head teachers. He said that this is the result of 52 percent failure of students in SEE.

He said that looking at the level of education, it is known where Nepali society is going. He said that the Education Bill is now in the Parliament and asked for necessary discussions on it.

He said that the constitution was blamed for the failure of the leadership level of the government. He said that all political parties are fighting for power.

He said, "80 percent of schools do not have teachers. 52 percent of students are saying that they failed SEE. There are no main teachers. This shows where the Nepalese society has been taken. The Constitution is not to be blamed. The constitution is republican, democratic, inclusive, with federalism. That's all. But it remains to be seen how to implement it. It should not happen without the party coming to power".
