Aug 23, Kathmandu- Nepali nurse Mamta Kafle, who disappeared from Manassas Park in America, has been accused by her husband of killing her and hiding her body.

On Thursday, the local police searched the house and arrested Mamata's husband Naresh Bhatta. According to the local media, the police have formally charged Bhatta with murdering his wife and hiding her dead body. 28-year-old Mamta Kafle Bhatta was last seen alive on July 31. The police initially said that Naresh was involved in her disappearance and did not cooperate with the police in the investigation. The 1-year-old daughter of this couple was taken away from home and kept under the protection of the Social Services Department. Mr. Bhatta reported Mamata missing only after a week on August 6th. Naresh will be presented in court today, according to the police.
