Aug 27, Kathmandu- Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has asked to determine the goals of modern, technical and quality education.
At the 15th meeting of the Midwest University held today at the Prime Minister's Residence, Baluwatar, Prime Minister Oli, who is also the chancellor of the said university, urged them to contribute to the educational improvement of the country as much as possible. He emphasized that the university should work to give a new awakening to the Karnali province, which is connected with the history of the foundation of Nepal's state system, and clarified that the government's entire focus is on positive transformation and development in the country.
Education, Science and Technology Minister and Vice-Chancellor Bidya Bhattarai presided over the discussion session on the proposals related to agenda including policies, programs and budget presented in the assembly. On that occasion, the Vice-Chancellor of the University Prof. Dr. Dhruva Kumar Gautam asked for the approval of the posts of 131 teachers.
