Aug 31, Kathmandu- 65-year-old Lal Bahadur Tamang of Bidur Municipality-7 of Nuwakot was arrested by the police today on the charge of killing his friend.

Deputy Superintendent of Police of District Police Office Tilak Bharti informed that Lal Bahadur was arrested on the charge of killing 65-year-old Chamar Tamang of Gogane by pelting stones on Saturday.

According to him, Chamar Tamang died on the spot after being hit by a stone thrown by Lal Bahadur in a general dispute while returning from the funeral of the neighbor.

According to the police, based on the evidence including the on-site bond, the confession of involvement in the incident from the accused, Lal Bahadur was arrested and started investigation for action.
