Aug 31, Kathmandu- A scooter driver died after being hit by a bus in Kathmandu. The deceased has been identified as Bishnu Bahadur Ghartimagar.

44-year-old Ghartimagar resident of Palpa died on Saturday at 10:30 a.m., according to the District Police Complex, Kathmandu.

At 10.30 am on Saturday morning, a bus hit Ghartimagar riding a scooter with number Ba 95 Pa 7635 near Makalu Petrol Pump in Kalanki. Initially, a person driving a Pulsar motorcycle with number Ba 53 Pa 9680 hit Ghartimagar on a scooter. He died after being hit by a bus.

The police have arrested Santosh Khadka, a resident of Satungal, Vidur Municipality, Nuwakot, and the driver of the bus. The motorcyclist left his vehicle and left it at the spot and escaped. The motorcycle has been seized by the police.
