Newly Appointed Chairman Of Film Development Board Took The Oath Of Office Today

Sep 02, Kathmandu- Dinesh DC, the newly appointed chairman of the Film Development Board, took the oath of office on Monday.

After receiving the appointment letter from the Minister of Communications on Sunday, he arrived at the board's office on Monday and duly took charge and started work.

The cabinet meeting held on Thursday decided to appoint him as the chairman of the board.

DC form UML, who is also a film director, actor and media person, is also the president of the People's Party Movie Workers Association. He is also known as a producer of television and radio programs.

While applying as the Chairman of the Film Development Board, he said that he would expand the film market, streamline the box office, and work on the internationalization of Nepali films.

After the tenure of outgoing chairman Bhuvan KC, the post of chairman of the board was vacant.
