Five People Arrested With Illegal Drugs

Sep 02, Kathmandu- The police have arrested five people with illegal drugs.

The police arrested 64-year-old Kalisara Pun, resident of Shivraj Municipality-1 Chainpur Naudihwa, along with 1 kg 446 grams of illegal marijuana from the passenger gate of Krishnanagar Municipality-2 in Kapilvastu on Sunday night.

The police stationed from the area police office Krishnanagar arrested her with the said substance while she was travelling from Nepal to India.

Also, during the interrogation, the involvement of 40-year-old Bhimsen Khatri, who lives in Rukum Paschim Bafikot Rural Municipality-7 Maka, was revealed, and the police arrested Khatri along with INR 100,000.

Similarly, 40-year-old Bhola Bhujal, resident of Manoharapur, Siyari Rural Municipality-2, Rupandehi, and 23-year-old Suresh Tharu, resident of Tilottma Municipality-14, were arrested by the police on Sunday night with 2 kilograms of illegal marijuana.

While searching Bhola's house, the police deputed from Chilhia police station found the marijuana and arrested both of them.

Similarly, 21-year-old Dipendra Tajpuria, resident of Kamal Rural Municipality-5, was arrested by the police on Sunday evening from Gauradah Municipality-3, Dhibinia Chowk, along with 9 grams and 9 milligrams of the illegal brown sugar, 1 mobile phone and 4,500 rupees in cash.

While checking motorcycle No. 27 Pa 3549 going from Gauriganj to Damak, the police deputed from the area police office Gouradah found the substance and arrested the driver Dipendra.

The police said that they are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
