Sep 02, Kathmandu- Actor Anoop Bikram Shahi has been roped in for the currently under production film 'Dukhi Atma'. Dayahang Rai and Aanchal Sharma have already been signed for the film which is going to start shooting from 24 Bhadra.

Director Dipendra Lama, who is also the writer, has informed that Anoop Bikram was chosen because he fit the character while selecting the character as per the demand of the story. The film produced by Himal Kadaria under the banner of Clock Work Creations will be directed by Alok Shukla.

Director Dipendra and producer Himal previously produced 'Nango Gaau' which was a super hit. 'Dukhi Atma' is their second collaboration. Dayahang and Anupavikram are going to act together in 'Dukhi Atma' after 'Bir Bikram' and 'Lappan Chhappan'.

In the social comedy genre film to be shot in Kathmandu, along with Dayahang, Anchal, Anoop Bikram, Buddhi Tamang, Pushkar Gurung, Kabita Ale, Shishir Wangdel, Ashanta Sharma, Lokendra Lekhak, Ankit Khadka, Luniva Tuladhar, Aarti Acharya, Nima Pandey, Ingihopo Koich Sunuwar, Yaseli Yonghang and other actors are playing. The songs of the film will have music by Sushant Gautam and choreography by Ramji Lamichhane. Sudeep Dhakal is the production manager and the film will be distributed by RR Films.
