Sep 02, Kathmandu- Gandaki has become the hotspot of dengue. According to the latest government data, the highest number of dengue infected people is 2,954 in Gandaki province.

Gandaki alone has 46.5 percent of dengue infected people in the country.

According to the Epidemiology and Disease Control Division (EDCD), 6,347 dengue cases have been reported across the country so far.

Similarly, 1,623 people are infected with dengue in Bagmati province. Similarly, 791 people have been infected with dengue in Koshi, while 100 people have been infected with dengue in Madhesh, according to EDCD.

Dengue infection has spread in 75 districts out of 77 except Humla and Mustang. 3 people have died due to the dengue infection that has been spreading since Magh.
