Congress-UML alliance will not last long: MP Alemagar

Sep 03, Kathmandu- CPN (Maoist Centre) National Assembly member Suresh Kumar Alemagar has expressed doubt that the Congress-UML alliance will last for a long time.

Mentioning that the ministers in the government are expressing that the alliance with the UML is like walking on a tightrope, he asserted that the current alliance cannot last for a long time.

Speaking at the National Assembly meeting on Tuesday, MP Alemagar said that the Maoists wish for the longevity of the alliance formed at this time. He said that the Maoist Center did not hesitate to leave the power. He said that it is not new that the coalition will change and the government will change.

He said, "There is a coalition government at the moment. The largest is made up of two parties. There is an alliance made up of Nepali Congress and CPN-UML. We are not worried about the formation of this government. We did not cry. We have not done it. Let it go forward.'

MP Alemagar said that what the current alliance was formed for is as clear as the sun.
