Sep 08, Kathmandu- Nepal Police has arrested three people with illegal drugs from Banke and Chitwan.
25-year-old Santosh Sunar, a resident of Surkhet Gurbhakot Municipality-12, was arrested from Banke, Nepalgunj Suburban-15 Jamunah on Saturday afternoon with about 330 milligrams of brown sugar-like substance and controlled drug Tramadol 9 tablets. A joint team from the Area Police Office Jamunah and the Narcotics Control Bureau Nepalgunj Bank arrested him with the drug while he was walking towards Nepalgunj from Rupadia Bazar in India.
Similarly, on Saturday afternoon, the police arrested two people, including 24-year-old Shekhar Bahadur Shrestha, a resident of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-4, along with controlled drugs Tamadol 2,120 tablets and Anargan 2,020 tablets from the room of 26-year-old Anoj Sangbo, a resident of Kalika Municipality-4, Padampur. Based on the information that drugs were being sold in Anoj's room, the police arrested them with the drug. The police are currently searching for the absconding Anuj.
The police said that they are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
