Sep 13, Kathmandu- Police have arrested two people for trading in cryptocurrency.

SP Hobindra Bogati informed that the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) has arrested two people.

22-year-old Pragyan Rimal of Gaidakot Municipality-4 and 20-year-old Aayush Sharma of Baglung Municipality-4 were arrested.

They were arrested by the CIB on Wednesday.

Rimal was arrested from Thamel and Sharma from Manamaiju.

They are the proprietors of Starboy Solutions. SP Bogati said that the police investigated and arrested them after it was discovered that they were dealing in crypto.

Permission has been obtained from the Kathmandu District Court to detain them for 7 days.
