Sep 24, Kathmandu- Nepal is likely to change its 'playing-11' in the ICC World Cup League-2 triangular series against Oman on Tuesday.
The match between Nepal and Oman will start on Tuesday night at 8:45 at the Northwest Cricket Ground in King City. After losing to Canada by 103 runs in the first match, Nepal made three changes against Oman.
Openers Kushal Bhurtel, Kushal Malla and Dipendrasingh Airi were eliminated by Nepal. Arjun Saud, Anil Shah and Arif Sheikh were given a chance in their place. However, Nepal was defeated by 1 wicket.
Even though there was no change in the team, Nepal lost to Canada by 5 wickets. Under the pressure of victory, Nepal seems sure to change the team against Oman.
There is a strong possibility that all-rounder Dipendra Singh Airee will return to the team. After getting out for 8 runs against Canada, Anil Shah was given a chance in his place. Anil is the opener and number three batsman.
