Sep 27, Kathmandu- Jhapa has received 297 mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours.
The water level in the rivers has crossed the warning level. According to the Department of Water and Meteorology, heavy rainfall is happening in Jhapa of Koshi region. Most of the places in Jhapa have received more than 200 mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours.
Chandragarhi airport has recorded the highest rainfall of 297 mm. Similarly, 222 mm of rain has been measured in Kechana in the last 24 hours. Similarly, there has been very heavy rain in Ilam as well.
Ilam has received 237 mm of rainfall in the last 24 hours. Gauradaha and Anarmani Birta in Jhapa have also recorded more than 200 mm of rainfall.
