Sep 30, Kathmandu- Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that it is not like he went to milk the buffalo of the United Nations and came back with milk.
The Prime Minister was responding to a question from a media person on how Nepal benefited from Nepal's participation in the United Nations at Tribhuvan International Airport. Prime Minister Oli said, "It is not like I went to extract milk from buffalo, I went there to put forth our views and problems. and I did".
He said that the problems are not only in our country and informed about the global problems. Prime Minister Oli addressed the United Nations General Assembly at a program held at the United Nations headquarters on Ashwin 10. In that sequence, the Prime Minister highlighted Nepal's perfect democracy, human rights, social security, etc., as well as the progress made by Nepal in the peace process, climate change and its impact and challenges on the Himalayan nation. During the Prime Minister's 10-day visit to America, he had meetings with the President of the United States as well as Prime Ministers and Heads of State of other countries and drew attention to Nepal's interests and concerns.
