Oct 01, Kathmandu- After the central office in Lalitpur's Chyasal was flooded due to severe floods, the main ruling CPN-UML's secretariat meeting was held at Hotel Basera at Hanuman Dhoka.

Due to incessant rainfall on this Friday and Saturday, the UML party office has been flooded for the second time this year.

Prime Minister and Party Chairman KP Sharma Oli, who returned to Nepal after 11 days after participating in the 79th General Assembly of the United Nations, is also participating in this meeting which started a while ago.

Hundreds of citizens have died due to the disaster of flood. Thousands have lost their homes. In such a situation, the government's work is being heavily criticized at the public level.

The UML secretariat meeting was held soon after Oli returned to the country. It is said that the meeting will discuss the damage, rescue and relief caused by the floods and landslides across the country.

On Shrawan 16, there was a flood in the UML office. Then on 17th Shrawan, the UML secretariat meeting was held at Basera Hotel in Hanuman Dhoka.
