Oct 27, Kathmandu- Israel has conducted a series of attacks against Iran consecutively. These strikes have resulted in the destruction of multiple locations within Iran, as well as in Iraq and Syria within a single night.
Israel has targeted some military strongholds in Tehran, Kagestan Realm province. According to three Iranian officials and three senior Israeli defense officials, several important air defense systems deployed to protect oil and petrochemical refineries were completely destroyed in the Israeli attack.
According to the officials, in the Israeli attack, the air defense stationed to protect the huge port Imam Khomeini petrochemical complex in Khuzestan province, the major economic port Bandar Imam Khomeini and the Abadan oil refinery near it were destroyed.
Officials said that the air defense system of the refinery in the gas sector was also attacked in Ilam province. One of these systems was related to the Ministry of Oil of Iran.
Israel has expressed concern following the destruction of its air defense system during an Israeli offensive. According to media reports, three Iranian officials, who requested to remain unnamed, have been voicing apprehensions regarding the potential vulnerability of Iran's critical energy and economic infrastructures in the future.
The Iranian army said that four of its soldiers were killed in these attacks. The US asked Israel not to attack Iran's energy or oil fields or nuclear facilities. The US feared that an attack on these important sites would increase the Iranian response, destabilize the world economy and lead to a wider regional war.
