Oct 29, Kathmandu- The Nepali National Cricket Team is playing against Scotland today in their second match of the tri series under the ICC World Cup League-2. This match will be played in one-day format and will start at 9:15 pm Nepali time at Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas.
In the first match of this series, Scotland made a victorious start by defeating America by 10 wickets, while Nepal lost to America in its first match.
So far 6 ODIs have been played between Nepal and Scotland. In which Nepal has won 3 matches and Scotland has won 3 matches. The last match between both of them was in February 2023.
CAN has announced a 15-member team under the captaincy of Rohit Paudel for this series. In the Nepali team, Dev Khanal and Sagar Dhakal have been kept in reserve.
The squad includes Virat Kohli (C), Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (wk), Yuvraj Singh, Kedar Jadhav, Hardik Pandya, R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammad Shami, Umesh Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah and Manish Pandey.
After this match, Nepal is scheduled to play against America again on November 2 and Scotland again on November 4.
