Nov 07, Kathmandu- A girl has died during treatment at Doti's Soojung Hospital.

Rajani Bhul, the 9-year-old daughter of Lokendra Bhul who were the residents of Dipayal Silgadhi Municipality-3 Dipayal, fell and broke her left arm while swimming. She was brought to Soojung Hospital Rajpur Doti for treatment. District Police Office Doti has informed that the doctors were arrested on the suspicion that the girl died as a result of a reaction to the medicine while she was being sedated in the operation theater for surgery on Wednesday evening after general treatment.

Doctors Dr. Rajmani Yadav, Dr. Surendra Kumar Chaudhary and Dr. Abhishek Yadav have been taken into police custody. The police have informed that they have been taken into police custody for investigation on the allegation of weakness by the doctor involved in the treatment.

Arjun Balayer, Head of Administration of Soojung Hospital, confirmed that the girl died during treatment.

The deceased's father, Lokendra Bhul, said that the death was due to the negligence of the doctor.
