Nov 08, Kathmandu- Nitin Chauhan, the famous actor of the Indian television, has passed away. No official information has been released about the cause of death of the 35-year-old actor. However, the co-star has said that the actor committed suicide.

Nitin Chauhan was the resident of Aligarh. He had been living in Mumbai for the past few years. Nitin is said to have died on November 7. The family members have been informed about his death. It is said that the family members have taken his body to Aligarh.

TV actress Vibhuti Thakur shared an emotional post after hearing the news of Nitin's death. "May your soul rest in peace. If you had the strength to face every difficulty, you would be mentally as strong as your body," she wrote.

Nitin Chauhan came into limelight as the winner of the reality show Dadagiri 2. He made his acting debut in Doordarshan's TV show Zindagi.com. After this, he participated in MTV Splitsvilla Season 5 in 2012. In that show, Nitin became the runner-up defeating actor Ali Goni, while Paras Chhabra won.

Nitin Chauhan gained a lot of popularity from this show. After this, he also appeared in TV shows like Crime Patrol, Gumrah, Friends Condition Apply, Saavdhan India. He was last seen in TV So Tera Yaar Hoon Main.
