Nov 12, Kathmandu- Rabi Lamichhane, chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has been brought to Bhairahawa for a statement in the case of misappropriation of the savings of Supreme Cooperative Society in Butwal.
He was brought to the district attorney's office for a statement immediately after he boarded the flight of Shree Airlines from Pokhara. Now there is work going on to take Rabi's statement about the embezzlement of savings of Supreme Cooperative.
District Court of Rupandehi had issued an arrest warrant against Rabi on charges of misappropriation of funds of Supreme Savings and Loan Cooperative Society in Butwal.
Lamichhane, who has been in Kaski police custody for 26 days, was then taken to Bhairahawa for investigation.
Rabi will be kept in the custody of the district police office if the statement is not completed today in Bhairahawa.
