By-election in Kirtipur: Campaigning and door-to-door campaign intensified

Nov 23, Kathmandu- Major political parties and independent candidates participating in the upcoming by-election for the mayoral post of Kirtipur Municipality in Kathmandu have intensified their campaigning and door-to-door campaigning. The candidates for the post of mayor are reaching the voters' houses and asking for votes by informing them about their agenda.

Some of the independent candidates, including those from the CPN (UML), Nepali Congress, CPN (Maoist Center), JSP, RPP, NMKIP, and other parties, have reached out to the door. Some are holding meetings at intersections. Some candidates are campaigning by holding bicycle rallies.

Surendra Manandhar from UML, Krishnaman Dangol from Congress, Prof. Dr. Shiv Sharan Maharjan from Maoist Center, Dhruv Maharjan from RPP and some other independent candidates have filed nominations for the post of mayor of Kirtipur city. Himalayan Tele Voice
