Dec 02, Kathmandu- Nepal Telecom has expanded mobile services to Patarasi Rural Municipality of Jumla district under Karnali Province. A new site has been constructed in Ward No. 2 of Patarasi Rural Municipality and 2G/4G mobile services have been operational since Sunday.
According to Telecom spokesperson Hari Dhakal, with the launch of mobile services by Telecom in the remote Patarasi rural municipality of the district, residents of Gadigaun, Talfigaun, Matachourgaun, Chhumchaurgaun and other places under Wards No. 1, 2 and 3 of the rural municipality have benefited from telecommunication services for the first time.
The company has prioritized providing telecommunications services to remote areas and has expanded its voice and data services to meet the needs of customers in these areas.
Along with this, the company believes that the local residents, tourists and other businesses including tourism in this area can benefit from the use of modern telecommunication services.
