Dec 09, Kathmandu- The Ministry of Health and Population has launched Hello Health service to address complaints related to health services. Hello Health was established following a ministerial decision by Health and Population Minister Pradeep Poudel to establish a unit to address complaints related to health services from the general public.
"We have established a complaints unit with the aim of increasing citizens' access to simple and convenient health services. Please send us your problems and complaints," said Minister Poudel.
Now citizens can send complaints related to the Ministry of Health and its subordinate bodies and health services via telephone, WhatsApp, Viber, email and post.
They can lodge their complaints by calling the telephone number 1115. Similarly, the ministry has made arrangements to send their complaints via message to Viber and WhatsApp number 9851330592.
Similarly, complaints can be sent via email to Hello Health at MOHP.gov.in. The unit was formed on November 14 under the coordination of Chief Consultant Tropical Medicine Dr. Anup Bastola. The same unit has started the service after making necessary preparations for the Hello Health unit.
The committee formed by the ministry includes Information Officer Dr. Bhakta Bahadur KC, Information Technology Director Ramesh Raj Subedi, and Branch Officer Gauri Prasad Acharya.
The ministry has stated that arrangements have been made to receive complaints and service-related information by adding other channels to the hotline number of the Epidemiology and Disease Control Division in Teku.
