Dec 14, Kathmandu- In the Nepal Premier League (NPL), Chitwan Rhinos have defeated Janakpur, who reached the playoffs.

Chasing a huge target of 181 runs set by Chitwan at the TU Cricket Ground today, Janakpur could only score 148 runs in 18 overs after losing all their wickets. Earlier, Chitwan, who won the toss and elected to bat first at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground, had scored 180 runs in the stipulated 20 overs for the loss of five wickets.

Chitwan, who defeated Janakpur by 32 runs, still has a chance of making the playoffs, while Biratnagar Kings and Pokhara Avengers are out of the competition. Chitwan has eight points from seven games. The defeated Janakpur has 10 points from the same number of games.
