Dec 23, Kathmandu- The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has appointed Deputy Chairman DP Aryal as the acting chairman.

The secretariat meeting held today has given the responsibility to Aryal after the case against Speaker Rabi Lamichhane progressed.

The Government Attorney's Office, Kaski, on Sunday registered a case against Lamichhane for cooperative fraud, organized crime and money laundering.

As the case process progressed, the District Police Office, Kaski, has already written to the Parliament Secretariat to suspend Lamichhane's MP post. However, Speaker Devraj Ghimire has not yet taken a decision.
