Jan 11, Kathmandu- A portion of an under-construction building near Kannauj railway station in Uttar Pradesh collapsed on Saturday. It is suspected that 20 people are buried in the debris.

So far, 14 people have been rescued. Two are said to be in critical condition. According to special information, most of those trapped in the rubble are laborers.

The Samajwadi Party shared some pictures of the incident on its official X handle. The party said that a part of a passenger waiting hall built at Kannauj railway station collapsed.
