Feb 02, Kathmandu- Two bills to split the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal have been registered in the Parliament.
Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey has registered the Bill to amend and consolidate the laws related to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, 2081, and the Bill to establish and manage the Nepal Air Services Authority, 2081, with the Parliament Secretariat.
Minister Pandey had presented a plan to split the authority some time ago to make aviation services more effective. Accordingly, he has registered these bills in the Parliament.
He said that the bill has been submitted to develop and expand civil aviation services in accordance with international standards.
