Feb 11, Kathmandu- Singer Eleena Chauhan has filed for divorce from her husband Bishnu Sapkota. The case filed by Eleena for divorce was decided by the district court of Kathmandu today.

Eleena and Bishnu got married on 5th Baisakh. Their marriage did not last even 10 months. Eleena's brother Prahlad Chauhan has confirmed the divorce.

He wrote on Facebook, "The physical, mental and emotional torture my sister suffered from you has ended today. From today, the relationship between my sister and Bishnu Sapkota has legally ended."

Alina has not claimed any share or inheritance from her husband. That's why the divorce process has become faster. Bishnu, who currently lives in Australia, fought the divorce case through a will.
