Uzbekistan's Isaev To Play NSL For Jhapa

Mar 11, Kathmandu- Uzbekistan's attacking midfielder Muhammad Isaev is set to play in the Nepal Super League (NSL).

He has been signed by Jhapa FC. He has experience playing in the top division football leagues of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Indonesia.

With this, Jhapa has signed its second player from Uzbekistan. Earlier, Jhapa had signed Uzbekistan defender Azamat Abdullayev.

Earlier, Jhapa had signed Serbian Lazar Arsik. He is also an attacking midfielder. Jhapa says that he has played professionally in Serbia, South Korea, China, Lebanon and Hungary.

Nepali-speaking American player Praveen Basnet is also signed by Jhapa.

This season's NSL will start at Dashrath Stadium from March 29. The league will feature seven teams.
