Mar 18, Kathmandu- Prahlad Kumar Chhetri, the mayor of Bardibas Municipality here, has gifted a ‘van’ to the Nepal Red Cross Society Bardibas Sub-Branch on his birthday today.

Chhetri handed over the key of the van to Bhuwan Khadka, president of the Red Cross Bardibas Sub-Branch. He clarified that the van was purchased with the funds received from the municipal executive office as the mayor.

Khadka, president of the Red Cross Bardibas Sub-Branch, said that the ‘van’ received by the Red Cross will be used to operate blood collection camps at various places.
