Mar 18, Kathmandu- Thrombolytic drugs, which the government had earlier announced to be distributed free of charge to stroke patients, have arrived in Kathmandu.
According to Dr. Prakash Budhathoki, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, the drugs arrived in Kathmandu just a few days ago. The drugs, which were kept at the international airport for a few days to complete customs procedures upon arrival in Kathmandu, have now been placed in the central storage room of the Health Services Department in Teku after completing all customs procedures, said spokesperson Dr. Budhathoki. 'Stroke thrombolytic drugs have arrived earlier. Now we will complete all preparations and distribute the drugs.'
