Excavator accident in Humla: Two people including driver die

Apr 14, Kathmandu- Two people, including the driver, died in an excavator accident in Chankheli Rural Municipality-2, south of Humla, on Sunday night.

The deceased were identified as 45-year-old Parbal Kami of Chankheli Rural Municipality-2 and the excavator driver, 31-year-old Arjun Kami of the same ward, informed Shankar Pokharel, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office.

Pranau Pokharel said that both of them died during treatment.

It is reported that an excavator bearing state number 2-03-001 Ka 975 overturned and fell 100 meters down while going from Pipalang to a place called Loti in Chankheli Rural Municipality.

While the driver, Arjun Kami, was operating the damaged excavator, the excavator suddenly fell about 100 meters down the road. Both the injured were taken to the Shrimashtha Primary Health Post for treatment.
