Apr 24, Kathmandu- Minister for Education, Science and Technology Raghuji Pant has taken the oath of office and secrecy.

President Ram Chandra Poudel administered the oath of office and secrecy at a ceremony held at the President's residence, Sheetal Niwas, on Thursday.

Pant, a proportional representation lawmaker from the UML, was appointed as the Minister for Education, Science and Technology on Baisakh 10.

Pant was appointed in her place after the previous Minister for Education, Bidya Bhattarai resigned on Baisakh 08.

Pant was appointed in her place after the previous Minister for Education, Bidya Bhattarai resigned on Baisakh 10.

Pant was appointed to replace the previous Education Minister, Bidya Bhattarai, who resigned on Baisakh 08.

Pant was a bitter critic of Oli during his previous tenure.

An influential leader of the Madhav Nepal-led group, Pant opposed the party split at the last moment.
