May 05, Kathmandu- The government has recognized digital payment network Fonepay as the highest tax-paying organization in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli presented a certificate of appreciation to Fonepay CEO Divas Kumar at a special ceremony held in Kathmandu on the occasion of the 8th National ICT Day.

The company said that the award highly appreciated the company's responsibility as a taxpayer and its contribution to the digital promotion of Nepal.
