Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology has made the ninth amendment to the Education Regulations, 2059 BS. The government has amended the education regulations using the right given by Article 19 of the Education Act, 2028 BS, including the provision of transfer to class 10 students and change of academic session.
According to original rules i.e. Rule 2, Rule 47A, Rule 53, Rule 57, Rule 80, Rule 84, Rule 138, and Rule 182 of the Basic Rules have been amended by the Ninth Amendment.
By amending Rule 80 of the original rules, if a student has to take a transfer certificate, he/she has to submit an application to the headmaster disclosing the actual details of leaving the school with the recommendation of the parents.
The regulations have made provision for the students who want to be transferred to issue the transfer certificate within two months of the start of the academic session and with the consent of the District Education Officer on the recommendation of the transferred school.
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Education, Deepak Sharma, said that the students of class 10 will not be transferred except in the case of Article 80 of the revised Education Regulations.
