Jun 21, Kathmandu - India is set to evacuate its citizens from Iran, including those from Nepal and Sri Lanka.

The Indian Embassy in Iran issued a public notice on social media on Saturday, stating that it will rescue its citizens, including Nepalese and Sri Lankan citizens, who are stranded in various parts of Iran.

The embassy has also urged its citizens in Iran, as well as citizens of Nepal and Sri Lanka, to contact the embassy immediately. The embassy has also made public a special Telegram user ID called 'Nepal&SriLanka' for contact.
